The NanoDrop ® ND-1000 Spectrophotometer can be used to simultaneously measure the concentrations of proteins (A280) and up to two fluorescent dyes. In addition to measuring both components of a protein-dye conjugate, the versatile Proteins and Labels module can also be used to measure the purity of metalloproteins (such as hemoglobin) using wavelength ratios.
