Novel Technology
 
Eight samples are pipetted directly onto the measurement surfaces. Using a patented retention system. Sample colums are drawn between the optical fiber surfaces to establish the measurement path. The technology was develped for use in DuPont Agricultural Genomics Laboratories and has been in full-time use since 1998.

Applications

Nucleic Acides : Concentration and quality measurements without dilution (DNA, RNA, oligos, PCR products, and Hybridization probe).

Microarray : Measures nucleic acid probe and dye concentration to determine labeling efficiency (Cy3, Cy5, and Alexa Fluor dyes)

Proteins: Concentration and quality measurements of labeled and unlabeled proteins without dilution.

Spectrophotometry: Performs full-spectrum UV/Vis
spectrophotometry.
