The IVIS® Imaging System 3D Series

Offers rotational axis imaging of bioluminescent and fluorescent light sources within living animal models. With a unique optomechanical design (patent pending), the IVIS 3D provides eight imaging views about the longitudinal axis of the animal without physically rotating the animal or the CCD camera. A 3D diffuse tomography version of Living Image® software analyzes bioluminescent images to provide the in vivo source brightness, location, and size. The IVIS® Imaging System 100 Series

Is a sensitive and large field of view imaging system. The IVIS® 100 Series offers an adjustable field of view of 10-25 cm, allowing 5 mice or 2 large rats to be imaged. The system features a 25 mm (1.0 inch) square back-thinned, back-illuminated CCD, which is cryogenically cooled to –105°C via a closed cycle refrigeration system (without liquid nitrogen) to minimize electronic background and maximize sensitivity. A patented and extremely light-tight, low background imaging chamber allows the IVIS® 100 Series to be used in standard lab lighting environments.>>More

Is the latest advancement in improving quantitative outcomes of in vivo imaging of bioluminescent reporters.
